What is a good specialist field to study alongside Spanish translation.?

In my experience the best is law, as there is a premium paid for legal translation. If you are in the UK you could go to London and become a scrivener notary which means translating legal documents and certifying them. Quite hard work I expect, but you will earn well once you qualify.

Second is business in some form or other. There are so many business transactions going on all the time that there are endless contracts and related documents that need translating. What is a good specialist field to study alongside Spanish translation.?
Business with a focus on international trade. High-paying opportunities with a chance to travel.

If you don't like to travel and do not want to stay in school so long, consider a medical position like pharmacy technician, respiratory technician etc. Those jobs require certification but not necessarily a full 4 year degree.

Good luck!!: )What is a good specialist field to study alongside Spanish translation.?
