Does either of these work?
El tiempo era fria en el invierno.
El tiempo hizo frio en el invierno.
If they both work, which is better?
Gracias! Can you help me with the correct Spanish translation?
Note that this one is not a literal translation, as a native speaker of Spanish would not say it that way ... I mean, the same idea, but with other words. Therefore, the correct sentence would be: "Hac铆a mucho fr铆o en el invierno."
Best Regards,
Rafael
la temperatura era fria en el inviernoCan you help me with the correct Spanish translation?

La temperatura fue fr铆a en el invierno.
"tiempo" means weather.
Um. it can either be el tiempo fue friO en el invierno OR el tiempo hizo en el invierno
your teacher probably wants the verb hacer. doesnt really make sense in English but its just the way it is i guess.
