Tell me what kind of jobs I can get with this education.I have studied Spanish translation in my country can I have chance to continue it in USA after I get there?
Yes you can continue this study here. it is very common. Spanish is taught all the way through college. As far as fields to work in, the door is open to any field of interest you may have. Companies will pay more for bi lingual, and multilingual employees. So if you are into law, or medicine, or investing, teaching...follow your interests. (by the way a lot of people don't know this but you can be a professional in anything, and as long as you are accredited, you can teach a college course or two on the side.
PS there is a serious shortage of translators in the medical and legal fields (especially Spanish)I have studied Spanish translation in my country can I have chance to continue it in USA after I get there?
Not many...unfortunately for you, there are many spanish translators here in the U.S., your best bet would have been to go someplace like London, or something.I have studied Spanish translation in my country can I have chance to continue it in USA after I get there?
You can definitely study Spanish here in the USA. About the job market, there are many native Spanish speaking people, so you might not get the job you desired. It always works out better if you have a secondary degree, like MBA or something. More people are willing to hire someone who is fluent in multiple languages and having a degree. You will stand out from the crowd.
