Here you go: Basically when a famous singer (or the recording label) decides to make the crossover and translate a song from english to spanish is usually because the song is already a hit and therefore widely known for english and spanish speakers (not always bilingual) so that they can reach the non bilingual potencial market. Here comes a problem to solve; the song in spanish has to sound pretty much similar than the original in english so that it remains a hit but now in the native language of those non bilingual. You know songs become hits more likely because of how it sounds rather than what they say (provided music marketing) so most of the time the translated version has nothing to do with the original song talking about the exact meaning of lyrics, never the less there are some tricks to say more or lass the same thing without changing the sound of the lyrics so drastically.

A) there's no such thing as a perfect translation



B) Hip Hop music contains a lot of slang, which is generally untranslatable



C) Songs are less likely to be faithfully translated because the words of a song have to go with the song, therefore, that's the most important thing. The song could be about something totally different.
