I need help with english and spanish translation. Can you help with this question?

When I heard an spanish speaker saying " lo hace de mala gana" does that mean being in the bad mood? please correct if I'm wrong. What does that really mean? Thank you. Oh yeah I heard that when I asked my lady to clean up her apartment. FYI.
